 In this session the editors of PLL and members of the SPL Journal Committee will discuss how to most effectively interface with the journal. This will include an overview of how the submission and review process works, the decision making roles of the editors, and the goals for what we hope the articles will provide for SPL and for the wider community of psychologists in leadership. Please come with your questions. No experience with the journal is needed to join!

Our annual SPL Conference in 2027 will be held April 8-11th in Portland, OR!
 
The Conference Theme for 2027 - Leading with Intention: Shaping Leadership Across Organizations, Industries, and Communities.

      Psychologists who lead, advise leaders, and develop leadership capability bring a distinctive perspective to the practice of leadership. The 2027 SPL Annual Conference will explore how psychological science and professional practice can strengthen leadership wherever it occurs.
      Leadership today demands clarity about where to go, judgment about what to carry forward and what to reconsider, and the courage to shape what comes next. Through presentations, dialogue, reflection, and shared learning, the conference will examine how psychologists take on leadership responsibility, advise decision-makers, develop leadership in others, and influence organizations and systems.

     Conference programming will take place Friday, April 9, and Saturday, April 10, with pre-conference programming on Thursday, April 8, and post-conference programming on Sunday, April 11.

 The Hilton Portland Downtown is a historic 4-star hotel located at 921 SW 6th Ave in downtown Portland, OR. Situated just one block from Pioneer Courthouse Square, it places guests steps away from the city's premier theaters, shopping, and MAX Light Rail system.
