This presentation highlights frameworks, models and perspectives for consulting psychologists to employ as they engage in “whole system consultations” (i.e., “organization as client”). Emphasis is given to the critical role that leaders play in defining and facilitating ethical and socially responsible cultures within a wide variety of organizational settings.

Learning Objectives:

  1.  Identify the psychological factors that impact culture within organizational settings.

  2. Augment their analytical skills related to values clarification, problem identification and analysis, critical thinking, and decision-making.

  3. Develop a basis for drawing upon multiple frameworks in designing specific problem resolution plans that address an organization’s needs in the area of culture.

  4. Catalyze change, from a leadership perspective, in promoting effective organizational and societal relationships, using frameworks associated with an ethical organizational culture.
